Cannot connect to SYNDIOMSVR. InternalsVisibleTo declarations cannot have a version, culture, pu

I have the following mssql2005 error when I try to connect to the object browser..

[C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.SqlServer.SmoEnum\9.0.242.0__89845dcd8080cc91\Microsoft.SqlServer.SmoEnum.dll] InternalsVisibleTo declarations cannot have a version, culture, public key token, or processor architecture specified. (ObjectExplorer)

Can anyone help me?

Thank you....god bless you all..

I have the same problem. I cannot connect to any of my servers. This started when the .net Framework 2.0 Beta was replaced with the newly released version.|||Yes, I have the same problem since installing Net framework 2|||Is this problem with a CTP version of SQL Server 2005, or the RTM version?

SQL Server 2005 RTM only works with the RTM version of the .NET runtime. CTP versions of SQL Server 2005 only work with the version of the .NET runtime that was installed with the CTP.|||I've had this problem as well so I uninstalled .net framework2 and reinstalled the beta version via sql2005 setup - works fine now

The .NET framework version has to match what SQL Server was compiled to use. CTP versions of SQL Server require the corresponding CTP version of the .NET framework. The RTM version of SQL server requires the RTM version of the framework.

Cannot connect to RS instance with SS2005 Mgmt Studio or Browser U

I get the message "Cannot connect to $ServerName\$RS2005InstanceName"
Additional Info:
Unable to connect to the remote server(System)
No connection could be made because the target machine actively
refused it (System)
Config Is;
SS2005 Database server ENT SP1(Named instance) $ServerName/$Instance1
SSRS2005 Reporting Services ENT SP1(Named instance) $ServerName/$Instance1
Where the Instancenames are exactly the same, & both the Database server and
RS instances are installed on the same server.
Also get a similar message/errors when trying to access the RS subwebs using
a browser URL.
regardsI'm having basicly the same issue. I can not connect to Report Services
through Management studio or the web interface. I'm running 2003 domain
controller, Small business edition and sql 2005 standard with sql service
pack 1 installed.
